NEW YEAR'S LUNCH WITH HOTPOT, (LION) DANCE AND MORE

For Chinese people, it is a tradition on Chinese New Year to gather with friends around a fondue pot, called the "Hot Pot" in China. During the fondue, people cook together at the table. When finished, the broth is full of all the good ingredients, this gives all guests health when the broth is drunk. Fenmei, Huamei and Yan cordially invite everyone to their Chinese New Year fondue lunch with surprises.
One thing we know for sure: the Chinese Lion Dance will visit us! We will make sure to hang a head of lettuce in front of the door, so the monster Nian will eat this lettuce instead of residents and visitors of the Belvédère building. There will also be a story about the Year of the Dragon, short presentations by David Zee and Benjamin Li, a dance performance by the Chinese women's dance group Katendrecht and a Chinese lucky lottery for all guests.
