Since 2021, SCFR Foundation has been bringing the Chinese New Year celebration to the people with the "RCNY Into the Neighborhood" initiative. The RCNY celebration is performed, in modified form, at locations such as nursing homes. In this way, everyone can celebrate Chinese New Year, including people who do not easily go out into the city anymore.

During the celebration, the story of Chinese New Year will be told, visitors will get to see the traditional lion dance and other Chinese art forms, and a tasting will be held.

RCNY strives to involve other locations in the celebration each year. This year, several care homes will be visited on February 24 RCNY Into the Neighborhood 2023 is made possible by the Van Cappellen Foundation.
